About Our Team
Ideal dental management of a patient requires the expertise of various dental specialists to ensure that all dental considerations (gum support, teeth position and bite etc) are adequately assessed. Here at the Oral Care Centre, we have a prosthodontist, periodontist as well as orthodontists.
Dr Adeline Wong
BDS (Singapore), MSc Dental Public Health and Prosthodontics (United Kingdom), FAMS (Prosthodontics)
Dr Adeline Wong graduated from the University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery as well as a Bronze Medal in 1994. After graduation, she was based in the then Government Dental Clinic followed by the National Dental Centre (NDC) in Singapore General Hospital.
Dr Kaan Sheung Kin
BDS (Singapore), MSc (Med Sci) Glasgow, DDO RCPS Glasgow, MDO RCPS Glasgow, FAMS (Orthodontics)
After graduating from NUS in 1982, Dr Kaan went onto specialty training in orthodontics in Glasgow, Scotland. He returned to Singapore and worked as an orthodontist in the Government Dental Clinic. In 1993 he opened his specialist private practice and worked restricted to orthodontics for 17 years. In 2011, he joined The Oral Care Centre.
Dr Isabelle Ng Yuk Ching
BDS (Singapore), MDS Endodontics (Singapore), MRD RCS (Edinburgh), FAMS (Endodontics)
Dr Ng Yuk Ching graduated with Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2004 from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and she went on to obtain her Master of Dental Surgery in Endodontics from NUS. She was conferred the Membership in Restorative Dentistry of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in 2009.
Dr Vijayan Loganathan
Prosthodontist, BDS MDS FAM (Singapore)
Dr Vijayan is a Dental Specialist in Prosthodontics. He obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Singapore in 1978 and his Master of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 1982. He spent one year in the Crown and Bridge Department of the University of Zurich, Switzerland, where he trained in porcelain work and color.
Dr Justine Lim
National University, Bachelor of Dental Surgery
Dr Lim graduated from National University of Singapore in 2011 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery.
After graduation, Dr Lim worked in government service for 4 years in both Polyclinics and specialist centres like National Dental Centre and National University Hospital Dental Centre.
Dr Yasmin Akrum
BDS (Singapore), MSc Periodontics (United Kingdom), FAMS (Periodontics)
Dr Yasmin Akrum graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1992. She then embarked on specialist training and proceeded to complete her Masters in Science (Periodontology) at the Eastman Dental Institute, University of London in 1995.
